Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Delivery
Teach Artificial Intelligence and Information Technology to students in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
Prepare detailed lesson plans, academic calendars, and schemes of work.
Use modern and interactive teaching techniques to improve conceptual understanding.
Introduce students to key concepts such as programming, data science, machine learning basics, digital literacy, and emerging technologies.
Incorporate digital tools, smart boards, coding platforms, and online learning systems to enhance classroom learning.
Assessment and Evaluation
Design and conduct formative and summative assessments.
Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and practical assessments in AI and IT.
Evaluate student performance through projects, coding assignments, and practical activities.
Maintain accurate academic records, assessment data, and progress reports.
Student Engagement & Support
Identify and support individual learning needs of students.
Conduct remedial sessions and enrichment programs for students based on performance levels.
Encourage students to participate in coding competitions, AI projects, hackathons, and technology exhibitions.
Mentor students in developing problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
Curriculum and Resource Development
Develop curriculum materials, coding exercises, project guides, and worksheets aligned with CBSE guidelines.
Integrate project-based learning, AI applications, and real-world technology use cases into classroom activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate STEM and interdisciplinary learning approaches.
Stay updated with latest trends in Artificial Intelligence, programming, and educational technology.
Professional & Administrative Duties
Maintain CBSE-mandated documentation including lesson plans, attendance, lab records, and assessment reports.
Participate in school functions, staff meetings, training programs, and parent-teacher meetings.
Assist in school administrative duties, examination invigilation, and evaluation processes.
Contribute to technology integration initiatives and digital learning programs within the school.
Qualifications and ExperienceEducational Qualification
B.Tech / B.E / M.Sc / MCA / M.Tech in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Information Technology, or related field
B.Ed. (Preferred / Mandatory as per CBSE norms)
Experience
Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in AI, Computer Science, or Information Technology in a reputed CBSE school.
Experience in teaching coding languages such as Python, basic AI concepts, or CBSE AI curriculum will be an advantage.
Experience guiding students in technology projects or competitions is preferred.
