Job Description:
The Principal is a visionary leader responsible for the strategic management, development, and operational success of the school. This role ensures the implementation of a high-quality international curriculum, fosters a diverse and inclusive learning environment, and promotes the academic and personal development of students. The Principal will work closely with faculty, staff, students, and the school community to maintain the school’s reputation for excellence in international education.
Leadership & Management:
Lead and manage the school’s academic and administrative operations, ensuring alignment with the school's vision, mission, and strategic goals.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture that promotes student learning and staff development.
Develop and implement educational policies, procedures, and programs consistent with the international curriculum and best practices.
Lead the recruitment, professional development, and performance management of staff.
Serve as the primary spokesperson for the school, representing its values and objectives to the broader community.
Curriculum & Academic Excellence:
Ensure the school’s curriculum reflects international standards, is rigorous, and meets the needs of a diverse student body.
Support and guide teachers in the planning, execution, and assessment of lesson plans.
Oversee the assessment of student performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate intervention strategies.
Maintain high academic standards and ensure the proper implementation of accreditation processes.
Student Welfare & Engagement:
Prioritize the emotional, social, and academic well-being of students.
Implement programs and strategies that enhance student engagement, diversity, and inclusivity.
Act as a role model, demonstrating high ethical standards and promoting a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
Address and resolve student disciplinary issues in alignment with the school's policies.
Communication & Community Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, students, staff, and the wider community.
Act as a liaison between the school board, parents, and other stakeholders.
Lead regular meetings with staff and parents to communicate academic progress, school events, and updates.
Represent the school in external events, including meetings with other international schools, educational conferences, and community gatherings.
Financial & Administrative Oversight:
Develop and manage the school’s budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with the school’s financial goals.
Oversee school facilities and infrastructure, ensuring they meet the needs of students and staff.
Monitor compliance with local, national, and international educational regulations.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or a related field.
Certification or qualification as a school leader (e.g., Principal, Head of School).
At least 5 years of leadership experience in an international school setting, with a proven track record of academic success and staff development.
Familiarity with international curricula (e.g., IB, Cambridge, American, or other international systems).
Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
