Job Description
Teach commerce subjects (Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, etc.)
Plan and deliver engaging lesson plans aligned with the curriculum (CBSE, ICSE, State Board, etc.)
Prepare study materials, assignments, and question papers
Assess and evaluate student performance through tests and exams
Provide guidance for academic improvement and career paths (e.g., CA, B.Com, MBA)
Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment
Use modern teaching methods (digital tools, case studies, presentations)
Communicate with parents regarding student progress
Participate in school meetings, training sessions, and extracurricular activities
Required Skills:
Strong subject knowledge in commerce-related fields
Good communication and presentation skills
Classroom management abilities
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Patience and student-focused approach
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com)
Master’s degree (M.Com / MBA) – often preferred
B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) – usually required for school teaching
Relevant teaching certification (as per board/school requirements)
Experience:
1–3 years of teaching experience
