Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Executive will be responsible for overseeing electrical maintenance activities across multiple showroom and office locations to ensure uninterrupted operations. The role includes preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical systems, monitoring energy efficiency, vendor coordination, safety compliance, and ensuring smooth functioning of electrical infrastructure including panels, HVAC, DG, UPS, and lighting systems.
Key Responsibilities1. Electrical Maintenance & Operations
Oversee electrical maintenance activities across multiple locations to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
Ensure proper functioning and maintenance of electrical panels, transformers, DG (Diesel Generator), UPS systems, HVAC systems, lighting systems, and power distribution networks.
Monitor electrical systems and identify potential issues to prevent operational downtime.
Ensure electrical equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
2. Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance
Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules for all electrical systems and equipment.
Attend breakdown maintenance and troubleshoot electrical failures to minimize downtime.
Conduct root cause analysis for repeated electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
Maintain service logs and maintenance records for all electrical assets.
3. Energy Management & Optimization
Monitor energy consumption patterns across locations.
Identify opportunities for energy optimization and cost-saving initiatives.
Support implementation of energy-efficient systems and best maintenance practices.
Analyze electricity usage and coordinate measures for reducing power consumption.
4. Vendor & AMC Management
Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and AMC service providers for maintenance support.
Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.
Verify service quality, invoices, and maintenance reports submitted by vendors.
Ensure proper AMC compliance for electrical and utility equipment.
5. Safety & Compliance
Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and company SOPs.
Conduct routine inspections to identify and eliminate safety risks.
Ensure all electrical installations and maintenance activities comply with safety regulations.
Support audit requirements and ensure documentation readiness for inspections.
6. Asset Management & Documentation
Maintain asset records, maintenance logs, service schedules, and documentation.
Track equipment lifecycle and maintenance history.
Prepare periodic maintenance reports and update management on operational status.
Support internal and external audit requirements.
7. Team Coordination & Training
Coordinate with internal departments for maintenance requirements and operational support.
Train and guide technicians and maintenance teams on electrical systems, troubleshooting, and safety procedures.
Ensure team adherence to maintenance schedules and safety standards.
Educational Qualification
Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
Experience
3 – 6 years of relevant experience in Electrical Maintenance, preferably in Retail / Jewellery / Commercial Buildings / Facility Management / Infrastructure.
Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, panels, DG, UPS, HVAC, and lighting systems.
Expertise in electrical troubleshooting and maintenance practices.
Good understanding of preventive maintenance systems and electrical safety standards.
Knowledge of energy management and optimization techniques.
Key Competencies
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Good leadership and coordination abilities.
Effective communication and vendor management skills.
Ability to manage multiple locations and maintenance priorities.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Experience in handling electrical maintenance for retail showroom chains or multiple branch locations will be an added advantage.
Willingness to travel for site visits and maintenance reviews.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
